KET

Key English test.

In our school we prepare students for Ket which is the first level of UCLES (University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate) and is an examination for students of English as a foreign language.

It is taken by more than twenty thousand people every year, in more than fifty countries. Like other Cambridge English examinations, KET covers the four main language skills (Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking, as well as knowledge of grammar and vocabulary) and assesses learners' ability to communicate in English in real situations.

KET is based on the Council of Europe's Waystage specification.

There's a Cambridge exam that's just right for you. Cambridge examinations are available at a wide range of levels for a wide range of purposes. Whatever you want to do - get a better job, go to university in an English speaking country, learn the kind of English used for a specific purpose, or simply improve your English - Cambridge has an examination which will suit.
